I CAN’T TALK ABOUT WAR ANYMORE
The movie tells the stories of young Ukrainians who were forced to leave their home and flee from the war. This is a story of being lost, trying to find a sense of home while trying to adjust to the new reality and culture that none of the characters consciously choose. During this process, they managed to find and create great friendships. But does it mean they found their home?
Nika Koshtur, originally from Ukraine, is a multidisciplinary artist living in Lisbon for the last 3 years. The beginning of the big war caught her here and left her without a chance to return home. In her art, she is trying to question and discover what the definition of “home” actually is and how different people can experience it.
